Rutabaga fries

So good, so easy!


(Side dish for 2 to 4 people)


Cut the rutabagas and carrots into strips and the onion into rings or half-rings. Toss with a bit of olive oil and salt or other seasoning. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake until brown and crispy (perhaps 40 minutes at 400 degrees). Check their progress often after 25 or 30 minutes.

Variation: Cut an apple into rings and add to the baking sheet the last 10 minutes.
