crittur’s head is flopped over because he landed on it when he arrived on Earth, head first from outer space, or so he told tom. That's why his last name is enzerbent. crittur enzerbent. Always spelled in lowercase letters, and always spelled yew ar, never ee ar.

tom first met crittur while hiking in the far north woods, where he was suddenly set upon by rogue lemmings. (Rogue lemmings, as you may recall, are the ones who refuse to jump into the sea. For reasons we don’t know, they often behave quite disagreeably.) tom was in dire straits until crittur appeared on the scene. The orange one learned that day that he is a natural enemy of the rogue lemming, being that the tone and pitch of his voice hurts their ears; if he talks long enough, they choose to leave and go terrorize internet cafes.

Anyway, crittur and tom have been together ever since, through, golly, more than 30 years. Now you know the first story about crittur. More will come, and may include his faithful cronies.
