Handwoven evening purses
To see the pattern of the fabric emerge as the weaving progresses fascinates me. Always a fan of technology, I love the mechanics of the loom and the structured weaving process. The rhythm and motion of the act of weaving creates a zen feeling for me.
My purses combine function with style using my uniquely handwoven fabrics. Natural fibers appeal to my vegetarian-back-to-nature-aging-hippie self, so cotton and silk are my primary yarns. The cotton or silk lining of each purse sports useful pockets in interesting colors.
